Volunteer English Tutor – Multicultural Tauranga About Multicultural Tauranga Multicultural Tauranga is a community-led, not-for-profit organisation located in the Historic Village. We have been supporting migrants and former refugees in the Bay of Plenty for over 30 years. We provide opportunities for people from diverse cultural backgrounds to connect, learn, and thrive in their new community. Through education, social support, cultural activities, and settlement services, we help migrants build confidence and a sense of belonging in Aotearoa New Zealand. The Opportunity We are seeking a Volunteer English Tutor to support migrants who have beginner-level English skills. The role involves helping adult learners improve their everyday communication, build confidence in speaking English, and develop the language skills needed for daily life, employment, and community participation. Tutoring will be delivered in a small group setting and will focus on practical, conversational and basic written English in a friendly and supportive environment.
